(New York, NY) – America’s premier 80s concert tour Retro Futura returns this summer, with a stellar line-up. Kicking off in July, the tour is headlined by pop songstress Belinda Carlisle; the bill also features such hitmakers as ABC, Modern English, Tony Lewis of The Outfield, Limahl and Bow Wow Wow’s Annabella Lwin

Belinda Carlisle was, and occasionally still is, the lead vocalist for the ground-breaking all-female band The Go-Go's. She is also a highly successful solo artist. Coming out of the California punk scene in the late 1970s, The Go-Go’s became an integral part of the new wave movement. With The Go-Gos, Carlisle produced such ubiquitous hits as “We Got The Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Vacation” and “Head Over Heels”. Carlisle left The Go-Go’s in 1984 to pursue a solo career and flourished with such chart-topping hits as “Heaven On Earth,” “I Get Weak” and “Circle In The Sand”. Belinda Carlisle has released eight solo albums to date and continues to tour the world. Her latest album is WILDER SHORES, an all-new collection of pop songs, released in 2017.

ABC has enjoyed a glittering career to date. They are one of a number of groups who came along and kick-started the 80s with their own brand of pop for a “new decade”. On its release in May, 1982, their debut album THE LEXICON OF LOVE crashed straight into the UK album charts at number one. Showcasing the soulful voice of lead singer Martin Fry with such hits songs “Poison Arrow” and “The Look Of Love” and produced by the legendary Trevor Horn, it was voted by many as the best British album of the decade. More hits would follow with subsequent albums including “How To Be A Millionaire,” “Be Near Me” and “When Smokey Sings”. ABC continues to thrill audiences globally with their live show.

Modern English band members Robbie Grey (vocals), Mick Conroy (bass), Gary McDowell (guitar) and Steven Walker (keyboards) first reunited in 2010, to tour the US, UK and Paris, before accepting an invitation to re-record “I Melt With You” for Mark Pellington’s film of the same name. The band’s most famous track was a US Top 50 single in 1984 after being featured in the rom-com film smash Valley Girl. The band’s most recent album is TAKE ME TO THE TREES, funded by PledgeMusic and released via Kartel Music Group.

Tony Lewis is the lead vocalist and bassist of The Outfield, the British pop group responsible for such massive hits as “Your Love” and “All The Love”. Their debut album PLAY DEEP, released in 1985, achieved triple platinum status and reached the Top Ten on US album charts. “Your Love" is still featured on a number of compilation albums, commercials, and has been covered or remixed over 1,000 times by other artists. This July, 2018, Tony will release a brand new solo album, OUT OF THE DARKNESS, via Madison Records.

Limahl won the hearts of millions of teenage girls in the 80s as the lead singer of Kajagoogoo who stormed to the top of the charts with “Too Shy” and “Kaja Mania” was born. After two more top 20 hits with Kajagoogoo, Limahl and the band parted ways and suddenly found he had another huge global hit on his hands with “Never Ending Story” from the film of the same name. With five top 20 hits to his name, Limahl is no one-hit wonder. Thanks to VH1, Kajagoogoo were reunited for the first time in 20 years and performing at The Scala which was filmed as part of “Bands Reunited”. He continues to be in demand as a performer recently touring both Australia and Japan to acclaim.

Annabella Lwin, at the tender age of thirteen, was one of the most photographed, talked about and popular vocalists in the early 80’s as the original member and lead singer of Bow Wow Wow. With a string of hits such as “I Want Candy,” “Do U Wanna Hold Me?,” “Go Wild In The Country” and “C30, C60, C90, Go!”. Her unique vocals and mohawk hairstyle, defined a sound and era of pop culture, inspiring a brand new wave of up-and-coming artists today. Annabella has worked behind the scenes to help global charities like UNICEF and Save The Children Fund through Buddhist organization SGI as well as in front, performing at concerts such as Tsunami, with renowned musicians Dave Navarro (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice in Chains) and Billy Morrison (The Cult), for diabetes and other causes close to her heart, dog and cat rescue centers.
