Yamaha has just introduced the YC61 Stage Keyboard, an organ-focused instrument in a compact, gig-ready package. The YC61 uses Yamaha's newly developed Virtual Circuitry Modeling (VCM) Organ engine which models the behavior of vintage electronics.
The YC61 allows control over physical drawbars, percussion, rotary speaker speed and more. It uses an all-new 61-note waterfall keyboard and includes two comprehensive “Keys” sections offer acoustic and electric pianos, strings and brass, analog-style synths, and more. Also included are effects like delay, chorus, distortion and more.
The YC61 is lightweight (under 16 pounds) and compact. It's MSRP is $2,499 and will ship to retailers in June 2020.
