ANAHEIM, CA (January 25, 2018) – Samson, an industry pioneer in professional audio

products, has signed an exclusive U.S. distribution deal with German musical instrument

leader GEWA Music GmbH. Samson will be the first official distributor of GEWA Digital

Pianos in the U.S., making these high-quality instruments accessible to musicians in

America for the very first time.

Developed and produced in Adorf, Germany, GEWA Digital Pianos are ideal for both

students and professional musicians. The sampling of the GEWA Digital Piano is based

on the Steinway D-274 grand piano and features over 30 different sounds that include e-

pianos, organs, strings, choirs, basses and synthetic sounds which can be layered, split

or played 4-handed. Users can also record their own sounds using the 8-track

sequencer and connect to external speakers via Bluetooth ® or USB connection. The

digital pianos are built with an imitated ivory surface designed for comfortable playing

and feature three contact points and scaled calibration uniquely designed by GEWA.

“We’re more than happy to announce our exclusive cooperation with the highly

appreciated operation of Samson for the U.S. market,” said Hans-Peter Messner,

President and Owner of GEWA Music GmbH.

“We’re very excited to be the first distributor for GEWA Digital Pianos in the U.S.,” said

Jack Knight, President of Samson. “This new relationship further strengthens Samson’s

position as the industry leader for innovative consumer and professional audio brands.”

About GEWA:

GEWA’s development of its digital pianos began in 2010 when the company

collaborated with the French company, DREAM, to create its own “digital sound

technology”. The decision to produce the pianos in Adorf, Germany stemmed from the

region’s large pool of digital technology specialists, providing GEWA with access to top

talent who could produce the superior products GEWA is recognized for. GEWA officially

launched the digital pianos in Europe in August 2016.
