After its nomination by industry partners, Venturi was chosen by Microsoft for their dazzling display at CES, to help show off the new generation of Windows 7 as a powerful and stable platform for creative computing.

Rain Computers tunes Windows 7 Pro 64-bit for audio and video production, combining it with a custom BIOS to improve performance, prevent glitches and drop-outs, and ensure mission-critical stability.

Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) hosts the annual CES show representing more than 2,000 corporate members involved in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronics products.

Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, is scheduled to make a keynote address at CES. In addition to Rain Computers’ Venturi, Microsoft is expected to unveil new tablets, mobile phone technology and additions to the successful Xbox 360 video gaming console.

Venturi Video Editing Computer by Rain Computers is currently available at B&H Photo & Video in New York City and through the online B&H store, by itself or as part of select turnkey solutions for Adobe Premiere and other hardware/software combinations. Additional Rain Authorized Dealers such as Amazon.com and Best Buy will begin to offer Venturi after its official launch in mid-January 2011.
