Novation's has announced Summit, a 16-voice, two-part multitimbral synth with a myriad of sound processing capabilities.
Summit features dual filters, extensive front panel controls, external audio input, and the five-octave keyboard found on their acclaimed SL MkIII MIDI controller.
The synth's sound processing is hosted on the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) chip, which can generate analog waveforms as well as FM and wavetable synthesis.
Summit also features an analog signal path with 12dB/octave filters, analog VCAs, and a plethora of sound processing options, effects and modulation sources.
