The latest revision of Apple's Logic 9 music software has Novation's Automap technology built in. This means that users of Automap-enabled Novation hardware, such as the SL MkII series, the Nocturn and the new Nocturn Keyboard, can control Logic's Native plug-ins and software instruments through Automap.
Now, with the release of Automap v3.3, Novation have provided the user base with mappings for Logic's plug-ins and tighter integration between Logic and Novation hardware. The first wave of mappings will be bundled with the v3.3 installer, and further mappings will follow in subsequent Automap updates, expected in October.
Alongside this additional Logic support, Automap v3.3 is the first version of Automap to fully support the brand new Launchpad controller (in stores early November), and it includes various enhancements for Novation Nocturn Keyboard users, as well as bug fixes for Pro Tools.
