Korg introduces Pa300 arranger keyboard

Frankfurt, Germany, MUSIKMESSE, March 12th, 2014 - Korg introduces the Pa300, the newest keyboard in its Pa Series of professional arrangers. The portable, 61-key Pa300 comes equipped with a vast, up-to-date collection of high-quality Sounds and Styles, many of which have been distilled from the Pa600 and Pa900. They can quickly and easily be called up to play along with, or for writing music. Sound selection is made easy via a color TouchView display--a first in its price range. Korg's Enhanced RX (Real eXperience) sound engine offers a high level of realism and vivid sound, and is complemented by a pristine, onboard amplification system.

Covering an expanded range of musical genres, the Pa300 provides Styles for almost every occasion. Over 310 Styles are included, each with a variety of intros, endings, variations, fills, breaks and favorites/user bands for storing them. Pa300 also offers more than 950 Sounds-- including stereo piano samples from a concert grand and GM2 sounds--plus 64 drum kits. In addition to the color Touchview display, the Pa300 offers players an easy-to-navigate layout and intuitive graphical interface that contains a search function for easy retrieval of any musical resource or file. In addition, two interface modes enable musicians of any level to start making great music quickly: Easy mode shows only the most important controls, while keeping a clean and straightforward interface, useful for beginners or playing live. In Expert mode, the musician has full editing control.

The onboard, high-quality, custom-designed amplification system consists of 2 x 13 Watt amplifiers that drive two loudspeakers in a bass-reflex box to generate a rich, powerful listening experience.

The Korg Pa300 will be available in April 2014, with a US Street price of $849.99.
