UK-based boutique synth maker Analogue Solutions yesterday released this brief video teasing their new Vostok Deluxe synthesizer. The original Vostok was a suitcase synth in a semi-modular format, meaning that there was a hardwired default signal path so that you didn't need patch cables to create sound--but of course that you could override that via patching and get creative if you so chose. The Deluxe, like previous Vostox synths, features a pin matrix for connecting modulation sources with destinations, in the style of the legendary EMS VCS3 of Pink Floyd fame.

This is a premium synth at a premium price: 2,699 British pounds, and showing a US price of just over five grand on dealer site Analogue Haven. Find more video and detailed specs on the product page
