"Many times when I write, I try to take my brain out of 'thinking mode' and just allow myself to follow whatever random and creative train of thought I’m feeling at that time," Kimmel says. "This was definitely the case with 'High.' I was able to turn my brain off long enough to be in the moment and what resulted was a song that has the ability to put you in a state of euphoria and feel like possibilities are endless. The music video for 'High' features two young and super talented BMX riders Parker Heath and Jesse Gregory. The video director Joe Rubalcaba had the idea of pairing the thrill of riding along with the fun and excitement of falling in love. I think it captures the emotion of this song perfectly."
