The band Kongos visited our offices recently as part of a promotional tour for their latest release, Egomaniacs. While we had them on camera, I asked each of the band members, as well as their front-of-house sound man, Mic Quinn, about their experiences traveling with musical gear and sound equipment.

They don't carry any of their instruments on the plane, but prefer to check them as baggage. Consequently, they make sure they know the baggage policies of each airline they travel with. Check our their experiences, as well as the fantastic travel tip from Quinn, in this video interview.
