Roland Corporation U.S. is happy to announce the first ever open-to-the-public demonstration of the all new JUPITER-80 synthesizer during “Wanna Play Day” at Summer NAMM in Nashville, TN on Saturday, July 23. Acclaimed keyboardist/composer and synthesizer programmer Scott Tibbs, known for making music with everyone from Beyoncé to Bruce Springsteen, will showcase the Jupiter-80 and its unprecedented leap in synthesizer technology. Demonstrations from Tibbs will include exciting live film scoring style multi-media performances and will highlight the Jupiter-80’s amazing mix of expressive acoustic instrument sounds and powerful synthesizer textures.
The masterful guitarist Robert Marcello of Danger Danger will also join Roland’s team to demonstrate the new GR-55 guitar synthesizer, featuring Roland’s newest proprietary digital processing technology, lightning-fast tracking performance and previously impossible sound-making capabilities.
Demonstrations will be held every half hour in Room 107 of the Nashville Convention Center starting at 10:30 a.m. Each demonstration will last 20 minutes.
