SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 18, 2015) – Noise Pop Festival, the Bay Area’s premiere indie music and arts festival, is excited to announce the early music lineup for the 24th annual festival. This year’s Noise Pop Festival is set to take place at a variety of venues throughout the San Francisco Bay area over ten days beginning on Friday, February 19 running through Sunday, February 28. Early Bird and Super Fan badges, as well as individual tickets to select shows will go on sale at 11:00 a.m. PST this Friday, November 20 and can be purchased at

The first round of music artists confirmed to perform at this year’s Noise Pop Festival includes rapper Vince Staples, New York rockers Parquet Courts, The Cave Singers, indie pop outfit
Cayucas, modern day disco band Escort, The Thermals, jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington, Astronauts, Etc., Palehound, Heartwatch, and more. The Mountain Goats will also be doing two performances at the Swedish American Hall, which will once again serve as the Noise Pop Festival HQ. The full 2016 music lineup will be announced in the weeks ahead and will feature some of today’s top indie and alternative artists, as well as a wide variety of up-and-coming acts from across the country.

A limited amount of Early Bird badges will be available for purchase at 11:00 a.m. PST this Friday, November 20 for $145. Once these badges are gone, regular badges will be available for $175. Badges grant access to all general admission (non-seated) concerts, as well as some very special events soon to be announced.

In addition, a limited number of Super Fan badges will also go on sale this Friday for $375. Super Fan badge holders will experience the red carpet treatment at Noise Pop Festival. These special patrons will receive guaranteed entry to all of their film, music and culture selections, a merchandise package, drink tickets to select events, rideshare coupons and a personal Noise Pop representative available for assistance during the Festival. Only a very limited number of Super Fan badges are available, so make sure to act fast.

For last year’s event, music and film badges sold out a week prior to the festival, and over 90% of the shows featured acts playing to sold-out crowds. In total, over 20,000 people attended the 2015 Festival that highlighted 160+ music artists at more than 70 events, including concerts, film screenings, and art shows. Additionally, the 2015 Festival welcomed back a renovated and restored Swedish American Hall which hosted several intimate and acoustic performances like Ben Gibbard (of Death Cab for Cutie), Jim Adkins (of Jimmy Eat World), Thao Nguyen (of Thao & The Get Down Stay Down) and more, in addition to two Song Exploder podcasts with Toro y Moi and How To Dress Well.
