The touring community mourns the loss of Marty Gelhaar, 54, who passed away November 23, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. For the past 28 years, Marty served as a keyboard technician for some of the best in the business including Bruce Springsteen, Gregg Allman, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Bob Seger, Steely Dan, Yes, Sheryl Crow, Aerosmith and Kansas, just to name a few.
Marty will be remembered not only for his technical expertise but also for his enthusiasm and wit—on and off the road. He also operated Atlanta Vintage Keyboards where his love of electro-mechanical keyboards was surpassed only by his prowess for repairing and restoring them. Rock on brother!
