On May 14 2016 IMSTA and SAE Institute Los Angeles will host their 4th annual IMSTA FESTA at SAE Institute LA. IMSTA FESTA is an event to educate music producers about legal software use. IMSTA organizes a breakfast, keynote speaker, master classes and a series of panels at SAE Institute Los Angeles for music producers, audio engineers, songwriters, musicians alike, students and educators - allowing them an opportunity to mingle with very successful industry professionals. IMSTA FESTA registration opens at 10:30am (PST) and doors close at 6:00pm (PST).
IMSTA FESTA is an annual event hosted by IMSTA (International Music Software Association) in four cities: Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Toronto. IMSTA promotes its message at each of these events through keynote speakers and panels that include industry professionals. In 2015, IMSTA FESTA LA invited Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins as its keynote speaker. He’s a four-time Grammy award winner. He has worked with famous artists, such as Madonna, Michael Jackson and Beyonce. LA’s 2014 keynote speech was delivered by Harvey Mason, Jr. seven-time Grammy Award-winning American songwriter, record producer and movie producer.
IMSTA and SAE Institute LA have teamed up to bring a free- admission educational event for the music making industry including - educational institutes, upcoming young semi-professionals, amateurs, students, songwriters, audio engineers, music-makers alike with music production interests and paid professionals. Attendees are given an opportunity to liaison with highly-recognized music producers/engineers to learn about using music software to enhance their skills and learn about new techniques in music production.
