Umeå, Sweden, April 29, 2013--Toontrack Music announced today that their annual Songwriters Month is officially up and running. Part from releasing new sounds and tools for their product lines every week, the Songwriters Month site will offer free stripped down, light version downloads of two of the company's most known products: EZdrummer and EZmix 2. These will only be available starting today and run throughout the month of May. In addition, the site will offer videos, inspiration as well as a new installment each week of a Customer Jukebox – an audio player showcasing the work of the users of the company's products."When we asked our users to send their tracks to us, we had no idea that the response would be so mind-blowing. The diversity of styles, musicianship and overall quality is overwhelming. We are humbled and proud to have such talented songwriters and musicians use our software and sounds to craft their songs", said Mattias Eklund, Toontrack’s co-founder and Head of Sound Design.

Songwriters Month is launched today and will run all through May. Toontrack is jumpstarting the month with a double-release of drum MIDI: The Classic MIDI and the Music City USA MIDI – two songwriting-friendly MIDI packs, both from the EZX/SDX products with the same names.
