Garage A Trois

Describing Garage à Trois is a search for adjectives, as you never quite peg the vibe before they morph again. Equal parts harmony and dissonance, they’re propelled by the explosive drumming of Stanton Moore and driven by the dynamic sax of Skerik, the vibes and percussion of Mike Dillon, and the psychedelic trip that is Marco Benevento on keys. The interaction creates a postjazz apocalypse of melodic tension. There’s no pigeonhole to apply to Garage à Trois other than their name, a feat that most musicians find hard to attain.
