Chloe Dolandis, Bring Back the Fever

August 24, 2011

By Robbie Gennet
What a debut! This album practically bursts out of the speakers with the swinging, horn-powered opener “Let’s Make This Moment,” setting off a terrific musical journey. Most of the acoustic piano, Rhodes, and Wurly is deftly handled by Max Farber. Adding keyboards are Rick Krive on B-3 and some piano, renowned producer Zach Ziskin, and Chloe’s dad Rory on further piano. From upbeat tracks like “Solid Woman” and the title cut to ballads like “Learning To Let Go,” this flawless disc should launch Dolandis and crew onto the global scene. (DF Music |
