Victoria BC Canada, April 15, 2013 – PG Music Inc. is proud to announce version 2013 of its award-winning Bandin-a-Box ®
intelligent music accompaniment software for Mac ® with over 50 new features plus 101 more studio-quality RealTracks and 50 more MIDI SuperTracks by top session pros.

In announcing the release of Band-in-a-Box 2013 for Macintosh, program author and creator Peter Gannon said,
“These are exciting times for the Band-in-a-Box Mac platform. In addition to a complete update of the Notation
features and the addition of MIDI SuperTracks, version 2013 adds over 50 new features and enhancements plus 101
new RealTracks and 6 new sets of MIDI SuperTracks. It’s a major upgrade.”

As well as more than 100 updated Notation features since version 2012, Band-in-a-Box 2013 for Mac adds another
50-plus new features, including Artist Performance Tracks that showcase Band-in-a-Box RealTracks demos as they
accompany a live recording artist playing the melody. There’s a new R&B Horn Section RealTracks style that pairs
well with Jazz Funk, Soul, Blues Rock, and even Country rhythm sections, and many RealTracks have been updated
and enhanced. The “Pick best” RealTracks feature finds the best soloing or chording match for any song. Both
RealTracks and RealDrums now show lists of recently used favorites. A new Song Form feature allows sections of a
song (A, B, C, etc.) to be defined, and then rearranged by simply typing the form you want (e.g. AABABAACA).
Handy buttons have been added to the toolbars for Non-Concert Transpose, Song Form, Bar Settings, and
Woodshed Tempo. The Save Track as Performance feature saves a track as audio, ready to upload with the built-in
SoundCloud.com and DropBox integration. The free SampleTank 2 softsynth is included, complete with a special
Band-in-a-Box preset of high quality PG Music sounds. And much more.
