Setting up Favorites Yamaha Motif ESJune, 2005On any of the current workstations, presets number in the hundreds. Which is wonderful except when you need to choose sounds quickly onstage. The Favorites feature can rescue you, and it’s one of those features that are so simple they’re easy to overlook. Here’s how to set up your Favorites: 1. Touch Category Search. 2. Find a favorite sound. 3. Touch F5, “Set/Clr.” 4. An “X” appears in the checkbox next to your newly selected Favorite. 5. To recall your Favorites list later, just touch Favorites. By the way, until you mark at least one Favorite, this button appears not to work — because there’s no list to bring up. Hip Tip!Remember that it’s not a great idea to add a whole lot of sounds to your Favorites list – they then become just as tedious to scroll through as the whole preset list. |
