In the first of an ongoing series about online promotional resources for musicians, we take a look at BAMM.tv through the eyes of one of their early success stories, San Francisco's Stone Foxes. BAMM (which stands for Bricks and Mortar Media) combines video production with A&R and Internet distribution. In a nutshell, if they choose to work with you as an artist, they'll make your video for free in a nice studio with a three-camera shoot, or shoot you at a club or festival gig. In return, they get licensing rights and share any back-end profits with you. That's not all there is to it, though: Partnerships BAMM has to get your video in front of global eyeballs include Samsung Apps and several overseas cable and streaming content providers.
