The Cool Kids (Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks) expertly deliver thick, subwoofer-destroying 808 beats; ’70s soul-funk piano mixed with ’80s keys; and super-tight rhymes on their first full-length album. Inglish’s production is incredibly slick, on par with that of the Neptunes. Standouts: “Boomin’” and “Rush Hour Traffic.” Superb. (Green Label Sound |
