Tasto_SoloThe unique mission of this quartet is to perform music written for the keyboards of the Middle Ages, on exact replicas of the Medieval clavisimbalum, organetto, and Gothic organ. Translating as “maestro of all maestros,” the title refers to Conrad Paumann, the blind-from-birth rock star composer of 15th-century Germany. The combination of academic rigor and casual listenability makes this CD both a go-to text on early keyboard music and an accessible soundtrack for afternoon tea. (Passacaille, tastosolo.com)

Do you require expansion card slots INSIDE your studio computer?
No, because I use a laptop or "mini" machine and rely on USB and/or FireWire
No, because I use Thunderbolt peripherals
I'd prefer expansion slots, but can live with workarounds like a PCI expansion chassis
Yes, I absolutely require that my main music machine have expansion slots
