Steinberg has pulled out all the stops with Cubase 7, which is the most musical and powerful upgrade to the popular DAW we've yet seen. You can get all the official info on their product page, but we just attended a Club Cubase clinic hosted by acclaimed mastering engineer Michael Romanowski at his San Francisco studio. We let the video camera roll and learned a lot about many of its coolest new features up close, courtesy of longtime Cubase expert Greg Ondo. We'll let those speak for themselves, but suffice to say we think this may be the version that wins over a lot of converts.
