Roland Integra-7 First Look

We recently got a sneak peek at Roland's comprehensive new hardware sound module, the Integra-7. Combining the "SuperNatural" acoustic, drawbar organ, and analog synth modeling of the Jupiter-80 with all of Roland's legacy SRX expansion-based sounds, it also features full 16-part multitimbral capability, a very deep and aesthetically pleasing iPad editor app, and independent surround panning of each multitimbral part.
Is this the return of the hardware sound module, a product category that for some time has been on life support? Check out the videos and decide for yourself.
