Click on the Images Creating rhythms using the arpeggiator. Roland Fantom X seriesThe Fantom-X has great built-in rhythms and you can accent them by using the arpeggiator to trigger drum sounds instead of melodic phrases. This is how to increase the happy-accident factor that we all know and love. 1. In Patch mode Press F1 Patch List. Next press F6 for Rhythm and then press F8 to select a rhythm Patch. 2. Press Arpeggio to turn on the apeggiator, then press and hold Shift while you touch Arpeggio again to edit the parameters of the arpeggiator. 3. Use the Data Dial to select “U026 Seq Pattern 15.” 4. Use the cursor keys and scroll down to Motif and using the Data Dial change the arpeggiator motif from Up to Phrase. 5. Press Rhythm to turn on the preset rhythms, and press Pad 9 to start the pattern. 6. Play Middle C as the root key on the keyboard and the arpeggiator will trigger percussion sounds in sync with the built-in rhythms. |
