Save time with Bookmarks Roland Fantom-XApril, 2005Let’s check out some time-saving features on the Fantom-X. One of the coolest of these is Bookmark, which allows you to map any page in the Fantom-X to any of the Dynamic Pads for instant recall. For this example, we’ll use the USB File function. 1. Press the Menu button, scroll down to USB Storage, then press Enter. 2. Press and hold the Clipboard button, and press one of the 16 Dynamic Pads. A thumbnail of the USB page now appears onscreen associated with the pad you selected. (User-C000 for Triton Extreme users). Press OK twice to confirm your selection. 3. Press the Exit button twice to get back to Patch mode. 4. To recall this page at any time, simply press the Clipboard button once and you can see the pictures of pages stored on their respective pads. Now press the pad assigned to the USB page, and your Fantom-X will instantly jump to the USB Storage function. 5. Repeat this process for any other commonly used pages, and scroll time will be seriously cut down. Bonus TipChange the color of the display: Press and hold Clipboard, and press Assignable Switch #1 to move forward through the color schemes; press #2 to move backwards through them. |
