WOODINVILLE, WA, USA – SEPTEMBER 25, 2013 – Mackie today announces two new versions of the popular DL1608 and DL806 Digital Live Sound Mixers that feature the Apple Lightning connector. These new DL Series mixers enable direct docking of the iPad (4th generation) and iPad mini (using the new iPad mini tray kit). While both of these iPad devices currently work with DL mixers wirelessly via Mackie’s Master Fader app, physical docking has its privileges. In addition to device charging, users will have access to 2-channel recording straight to the iPad and the ability to playback audio from nearly any iPad app straight to the DL mixer.

The new DL1608 and DL806 featuring the Apple Lightning connector are currently in production and are shipping to dealers and distributors worldwide.
