Creating trills and hammer-on effects using SW1/SW2. Korg Triton seriesJuly, 2005The two switches above the joystick can be used for a number of fixed functions, or as modulators in the Triton voice. Here’s a cool trick using their Momentary mode for realtime performance fun. 1. Go to P1 Basic and select the Controller tab. Set SW2 to “SW2 Mod.:CC#81” and change it from Toggle to Momentary mode. Now it only lights up while you hold it; when you let go the light goes out. 2. Go to P2 and set both Osc1 P.Mod and Osc2 P.Mod Pitch AMS sources to “SW 2:CC#81” and their intensity to 2.00. 3. Play a note and tap SW2. You’ll get a trill between the note you’re playing and a whole step above. |
