“Another thing about the accordion that’s great is that you start to deal with chords, even though they’re maybe in a button," says Gil. "It’s a really good kind of left/right training. It also teaches you a tremendous amount about orchestration and the orchestra – you have the ability to affect attacks and decays and volume within the course of a note.
