Use your imagination and conceptualize what the ultimate tone would be to your ears. Hear in your head what you would want to hear, as a music fan, from the keyboard player. You have the ability to be that person, to create that sound, and to constantly tweak until you achieve just what you’re envisioning. That goes for your sound design, as well as your playing style and composition. Always just try to imagine, what’s the ultimate style you want to hear? Listen to the inner fan within yourself. What would be the most awesome thing you could witness on stage? Then become that.
