Concord Music Group Leads the Pack with Most Grammy Awards at 2013 Ceremony

February 12th, 2013 – Los Angeles, CA – Concord Music Group, one of the world’s leading independent record labels, took home more Grammy awards at this year’s Grammy ceremonies than any other record label. With a total of eight Grammy wins, Concord beat out all major labels and independents, including Warner Bros. Records, Atlantic Records, and Island Def Jam, respectively.

Concord Music Group and its family of imprints enjoyed a host of big wins including Paul McCartney’s “Kisses on the Bottom,” (Hear Music) for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album; Arturo Sandoval, “Dear Diz: Every Day I Think of You,” for Best Large Jazz Ensemble; Steep Canyon Rangers “Nobody Knows You,” (Rounder) for Best Bluegrass Album and multiple wins for Chick Corea and Esperanza Spalding.
