Another
MoogFest
has come and gone, and
Keyboard
was there! Held Halloween weekend in Asheville, North Carolina, the joint effort of
Moog Music, Inc.
and the
Bob Moog Foundation
has grown from a one-evening nightclub event formerly held in New York City, to one of the most influential and absolutely the most keyboard- and synth-oriented music festival in the USA. Check the 'fest website for the expansive roster of artists who played there. Here, join our own Geary Yelton--Asheville resident and longtime Moog user and Moog Foundation supporter--as he interviews Moog Innovation Award honoree Thomas Dolby, electronic music pioneers Harold Budd and Morton Subotick, and groundbreaking tech-electro duo Orbital--and more!
